Is it possible to retrieve deleted files even if you've emptied the Recycle Bin?

When we delete something, it goes to the recycle bin or trash. We can revive it easily. What if we empty the Recycle Bin or trash, is there still a way to get those files and folders back?

Horses for courses...

When you delete files the data itself isn’t deleted, just the index entry that tells the system where the data for those files is located. You can recover the deleted files but it all depends on what has happened since the files were deleted. Because the area containing the deleted data is also now marked as free space so it is available for any new files to be written there instead. So it is very, very important to remember that don't save any new files or data to the device concerned as long as you found something important stuff lost.

How to figure out whether it still in the hard drive? The easiest way is to try some good data recovery software to see if you can retrieve it.

One tip here is you can try some free demo version of file recovery program which can scan the device for deleted data and show you exactly which file can be rescued. At least that will show you if you can recover the deleted files or if it’s too late already.
